Union Chapter No. 7 R.A.M. meets on the 2nd Monday of every month except the months of July & August. We meet in Essex Lodge No. 7 located at 8 Smull Ave. Caldwell, NJ 07006. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM with our Meeting beginning promptly at 7:30 PM.

It is my privilege to have been elected to the distinguished position of Most Excellent High Priest. I will do my best to serve this position with honor and fidelity.
I am looking forward to having a banner year at Union Chapter #7. With the introduction of new Companions and at least one of their degrees being performed in our Chapter, 2012 will be Most Excellent. This will take a lot of dedication on our part. As we all know, you can only get out of something what you put into it. I promise you that I will dedicate myself and give 100% to my position as Most Excellent High Priest. I know that we will do a great job and be able to perform degrees with pride and receive the respect that Union Chapter #7 deserves.
My outlook for 2012 is very simple. Our Chapter will grow. We will work hard. We will have success. Above all, we WILL have a good time doing it. My intention is for this to be the year of smiles in honor of my Dad. Some of you may know that I have the nick-name of Smiley. I guess there could have been other names, but I think Smiley suits me best. I'm sure that I got that trait from my Dad. He was a happy guy and smiled and said hello to everyone who crossed his path. Those were the lucky recipients of my father's gift, his smile. It is a known fact Theodore Roosevelt had a quote on his desk while he was President, and it read, "The value of a smile. . . it costs nothing but creates much. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad and nature's best antidote for trouble! Yet, it cannot be bought, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody, until it is given away!"
